The student exchange application for Semester A 2026-27 (from September to December 2026) will be open for application from 08 Apr (Wed) to 15 May (Fri) 2026, while for Semester B 2026-27 (from January - May 2027) will be open for application from 1 September - 15 October 2026.  For departmental-level student exchange, nominations and applications will be handled by our departmental colleagues.  Please send your nomination to our department and provide the documents below to me for the inbound exchange application. The hyperlink to the required documents and online application system can be found on our departmental website:

Course information and class schedule for inbound students studying in Semester A, 2025-26, the information from the website of the Admission Office, is pending updating.  You may take reference to the list of courses for exchange students from the academic year 2025-26.

The course codes starting with CA2xxx, CA3xxx, CA4xxx are undergraduate courses offered by the ACE Department, while courses code starting with 1,2,3 or 4 are undergraduate courses.  The maximum study load for a full-time student is 18 credit units per semester.  Please note that exchange students are required to take a minimum of 12 credit units of CityU courses for Semester A or B, or a minimum of 6-7 credit units for the Summer Term, and enrol as a full-time student, to meet the requirements of the Hong Kong Immigration Department for visa issuance.

Please inform the student to register for a new user account using the home university email address to start the online application. The students need to select “Departmental Level” on the registration page.
